Eligible candidates for our services are:
The homeowner of record for a Benton, Franklin or Walla Walla county property in which they have resided for three or more years
Current on property taxes, or on a qualified repayment plan
Current Homeowner Insurance
Living in a household with total income less than 60% of the Area Median Income

Q: What information will be asked for in my application?
A: You will be asked to include proof of income in the form of your most recent federal tax return, your latest paycheck stub, or your latest Social Security and/or pension benefit statement, as well as, proof of homeowner insurance. You will also be asked to describe the condition of your home, the top four concerns you would like us to address with repairs, and list the names and birthdates of each resident in the home.
Q: What is the time frame of the application process?
A: Due to the high volume of applicants and the availability of funding, application for services is not an automatic process and selection of participants is limited. If your application meets eligibility requirements, you will be contacted by a member of our staff to schedule a walk-through inspection of your home so we can get an idea of the scope of work to be done.
Q: What if my home does not meet the requirements for Rebuilding Mid-Columbia's services?
A: If Rebuilding Mid-Columbia is unable to serve your home for any reason, we may be able to refer you to other housing agencies in the Tri-City area who also provide homeowner services.
